As a home hairdresser have seen some real horrors. Some ppl have contacted me when their hair is like chewing gum. It’s heartbreaking to see on anyone. Often it’s because they have had a platinum card in the past; been given a gybe by an ex and used a revenge box dark colour themselves and then to return home bleach. The only thing i could do was to try condition with professional products and trim melted ends. You were brave putting on toner your ladies hair finished up looking nice. She mustn’t use any heavy heat on it or you will be cutting it much shorter x

Bravo! I have been doing color correction for 30 years and it always seems the people using box complex henna dye at home want to be platinum overnight. I've had melting at the ends and usually it's because they want to be blonde so bad that they lied about what they used. Very nice work, and thank you for your honesty.

I had a similar experience and ended up having to cut my shoulder length hair completely off… I had to have a very short pixie cut.. My bangs were about an inch long.. I called the girl and sent her pictures of my burnt up hair and she asked me “what did you do to it?”. I was very upset that she blamed me for the condition my hair was in and she never even offered a refund.

Bleach being hot = hair will fall out. My bleach was so hot my cap was steaming washed it out most of my hair fell.

62 been doing hair for the last 38yrs. That’s a brilliant method of of dark to light, I myself am not fond of 8/46? I would have preferred pale pastel to a darker cool on the end. But it’s the payer calling the color choice. And if you’re not learning something of value every single day you’re wasting your time.

Blondor is the very best as far as I'm concerned! My hairdresser has used it on me for many years to frost my hair. It doesn't get brassy, it's gentle on my hair, and never had a single issue. He used a cap which works extremely well for my really short hair to frost it. It grows out perfectly and doesn't leave noticeable bad spots at all. Since it's a multi blonde you don't notice anything but beautiful muti color which is very even all over, not spotting. My hairdresser never used any sort of toner and as I said it's perfect. My hairdresser and really good friend sadly suddenly passed away, so I've had to find a new one. My new one had never heard of Blondor until I bought it so she could use it on my hair. She was totally shocked that it didn't turn brassy, but I am a natural blonde by birth, so that might help and have never used any color other than the Blondor on my hair. She's so glad I introduced it to her and that I wanted her to use a cap. She said she'd not use one much in the last few years, but that it worked great on my short hair and she plans on suggesting it more for some of her other clients. I have never had anything other than a 20 volume developer used with the Blondor on my hair, thus the reason it's probably stay healthy.

Once I got my hair bleach in US ( I’m from Finland) and they told me it will take 3 sessions to get it level 10 from my natural level 6, she added the bleach and told me it will be on my hair 40 mins, after 20 minutes she came to check on it and it was completely white and falling off. Horrible day. She had to cut me a long bob and probably cut around 7 inches off. I could see her panic and I was trying to calm her down but yeah, it’s been 12 years and I’m still traumatized:D

What a tragic outcome. Your application should have been 1/2 in. From scalp to midsection Omit ends . Then move on. The total cost for a proper application per time and product would have been astronomical. As is u probably had to comp. the service. Try some semi/demi color in the dr. Blue base for all the orange not toner . Good luck. I been at it 50 yrs s… happens. Enjoy your work🙉🙊🙈✂️

I understand that she didn't know the difference between a treatment and relaxer but that's her job to make sure she understands what the stylist is doing to her hair that's not your fault you didn't know and you did a strand test so I know you feel bad but you got to remember you did everything you were supposed to do unfortunately that happened I'm a stylist to and she's going to have to cut some more of that hair off
